“1950” is our classic extra virgin olive oil, made from more mature olives harvested from early November onward. This later stage of ripeness produces a well-balanced oil, with light bitterness and medium spiciness. It’s a versatile oil suitable for a wide range of uses—from raw dressings to cooking and even frying.
The name “1950” honors the year both the mill and our very first Gaudenzi olive oil were born. For decades, this was the only oil we produced, and with the arrival of new lines, it was time to give it its own identity.
